Knightmare
Knightmare is a British children's television programme that aired on CITV from 7 September 1987 to 11 November 1994. As an adventure game show, it features a team of four children, with one playing the role of a sightless dungeoneer and the other three acting as their guides. The team navigates a medieval setting, attempting to complete a quest and escape the dungeon by solving puzzles, overcoming obstacles, and interacting with unusual characters. The show is particularly recognized for its use of blue screen chroma key technology and its 'virtual reality' interactive gameplay on television. It achieved high viewing figures during its original run and has since developed a cult following among fans. A one-off special revival of the show was produced by YouTube in August 2013.
