La que se avecina
*La que se avecina* is a Spanish television comedy created by Alberto Caballero, Laura Caballero, and Daniel Deorador. The series centers on the residents of Mirador de Montepinar, a fictional building located on the outskirts of a large city. Its storylines and cast are heavily inspired by *Aquí no hay quien viva*, which concluded when Telecinco acquired Miramón Mendi, the production company behind the show. The episodes premiered on the Telecinco network and were later rerun by the same network as well as cable and satellite channels FactoríaDeFicción and Paramount Comedy. The series debuted on 22 April 2007 and gained popularity due to its humorous characters, witty script, use of catchphrases, and ability to integrate and satirize contemporary issues. The show offers a sharp satire of various archetypes found in Spanish society. The title of the show is a play on words, as "vecina" is the Spanish word for neighbor.
