Life in Pieces
This comedy follows a large, loving family and their awkward, hilarious, and ultimately heartwarming milestone moments, as told through the perspectives of its various members. Among the three siblings, middle child Matt may have found his true love in his co-worker, Colleen; his younger brother, Greg, and his wife, Jen, are overwhelmed by the birth of their first child; and the eldest sibling, Heather, along with her husband, Tim, are so anxious about their upcoming empty nest that they're considering having another baby. Their parents are Joan, the family's adoring matriarch who supports her children as long as she agrees with their choices, and John, the gregarious patriarch who is trying to find ways to cope with turning 70. As the family's lives unfold through four short stories each week, they attempt to cherish these fleeting yet lasting moments, recognizing that these experiences together define what life is truly about.
