Two teachers with opposing views on education and life find themselves entangled in an unexpected partnership. Wang Qiang-Da is a brilliant Professor of Mathematics who applies logic and reasoning to all aspects of life. In contrast, Wang Qiang-Wei is a history teacher, art appraiser, and host of the radio program “Sophie’s Midnight Sky,” where she is referred to as “Dorothy.” She values the joy of learning and the happiness of those around her. Qiang-Da and Qiang-Wei are brought together during a botched investigation into the criminal known as the “Black Ghost.” As a result of the incident, both end up teaching at Chang Tai Tutorial Classes and assisting Prosecutor Tie Bu-Fan in solving cases.
