Little Bill

*Little Bill* is a children's television series currently airing on Nick Jr. Based on Bill Cosby's *Little Bill* book series, the show is set in Philadelphia and follows Bill Jr. as he learns various lessons and morals. The series was developed through research and in consultation with a panel of educational consultants. The show originally aired on CBS as part of *Nick Jr. on CBS* from September 16, 2000, to September 7, 2002, and later as part of *Nick on CBS* from August 2, 2003, to September 10, 2005. It returned with the revival of *Nick Jr. on CBS* on September 17, 2005, and continued until September 9, 2006, when the block was replaced by *The KOL Secret Slumber Party*. Production resumed in fall 2006, resulting in a new season of six episodes that aired on Noggin from April to July 2007, concluding in the latter month. Reruns have been broadcast on Nick Jr., BET since January 7, 2008, and Centric since May 1, 2010. Sonia Manzano, best known for portraying Maria Rodriguez on *Sesame Street*, was a frequent writer for the show.
