Synopsis
Lou, a small circus performer, arrives in Walnut Grove to start a new life after the death of his wife and the birth of his daughter. Faced with prejudice from Mrs. Oleson, who uses her influence to prevent him from finding work, Lou resorts to stealing food to survive. After risking his life to save Nancy from a well, Mrs. Oleson reevaluates her stance and drops the charges against him.
