Nagisa Mio is an oceanographer at Shibaura University of Marine Science and Technology, with a strong interest in fish and a deep love for the sea. Though she is cheerful and kind, she is private about her family and past. Hasuda Rintaro, the second son of a wealthy family, is known for being difficult to approach, but he is actually a sincere and unpretentious person. He has returned to Japan due to his father's declining health and is now overseeing a marine resort development project. Mio opposes the project, as she wants to protect the ocean, while Rintaro is fully committed to its success. The two, seemingly from different worlds, meet through the project and fall in love. However, their relationship faces a major obstacle, as Mio harbors a secret that will shock everyone.
