A Kiss Note is a magical notebook with the power to make anyone whose names are written together fall in love instantly if they kiss, regardless of the circumstances. This enchanted item belongs to Guri, an angel who works as a cupid to create couples. When Guri accidentally writes the name of Aino Seiji, an ordinary high school student, he is thrust into an unusual situation—unless he kisses someone, Guri will die. To save her, Guri convinces Seiji to kiss Hiyama Akane, his crush and the school's most popular girl, who in turn harbors intense and obsessive feelings for him. As Akane and Seiji grow closer, Guri also develops feelings for Seiji, complicating the situation. What might seem like a dream scenario for many boys turns into a nightmare for Seiji, who simply wants to have normal relationships with girls.
