Love You as the World Ends
Hibiki Mamiya, a 26-year-old car mechanic, lives with his high school sweetheart, Kurumi Ogasawara, who is also 26 years old. Their life together feels natural and is filled with the warmth of mutual love, a happiness they had expected would last a lifetime. Hibiki is secretly preparing to propose to Kurumi when a disaster strikes: a tunnel collapses, trapping him for four days. He barely survives and emerges to find a world that has changed completely. No one is around, communication signals are down, the transportation network is in disarray, and the only information available is an emergency evacuation order being repeated on the radio. Everywhere Hibiki goes, he sees bloodstains. Just what happened to this town?
