In the year L.C. 922, a sudden crisis unfolded. In Tetra Heaven, a legendary land where a hundred-year war had just ended, the defeated gods sought a new home and discovered Septpia, the human world, which they then attacked. The Logicalists affiliated with ALCA, a special police agency responsible for defending cities from foreign invasions—specifically by angels—were forced into action regardless of their willingness. Logicalists with sufficient ability could enter a trance with goddesses from the other world, giving them a fighting chance in battle. Yoshichika Tsurugi, a civilian without "Logic" who lived peacefully with his family, was caught in an attack and took refuge with others. There, he encountered a beautiful goddess named Athena, who possessed the "Logic" Yoshichika lacked. Together, Yoshichika and Athena set forth toward their shared destiny.
