Lycoris Recoil

Takina Inoue, a secret agent known as a "Lycoris" tasked with safeguarding Japan, is reassigned to work at the café LycoReco following an incident. Despite her eagerness to return to active duty—especially after forming a bond with the elite Lycoris Chisato—Takina finds herself dealing with a series of bizarre and unpredictable situations at the café.

LycoReco is approached by renowned hacker Walnut, who seeks their help to escape from rival hackers pursuing him. As the team works to assist him, they are suddenly attacked by a violent group of armed assailants, putting Chisato and the others in danger.

Chisato undergoes a health checkup and fitness test at DA Headquarters, accompanied by Takina, who seeks to petition for her reinstatement. Their request is rejected by their commander, while Chisato's former partner, Fuki, begins working with a new teammate.

Following a recent incident at DA Headquarters, Chisato and Takina settle into a peaceful life at LycoReco. One day, Chisato becomes concerned when she notices something unusual about Takina's underwear, prompting her to take action by taking Takina shopping.

Matsushita, a terminally ill man linked to a life-support machine, returns to Japan for a final sightseeing trip. Chisato and Takina, hired as bodyguards and guides, accompany him on a tour of Tokyo, doing their best to make the experience memorable. Along the way, Takina discovers an intriguing secret about Chisato.

A series of attacks targeting Lycoris members prompts Takina to stay at Chisato's house for safety, leading to unexpected challenges as they navigate living together for the first time. Meanwhile, Kurumi investigates data held by DA, uncovering clues that bring her closer to the truth behind the assaults.

Chisato discovers a text on Mika's phone and becomes convinced that Kusunoki is attempting to lure Mika back to DA. Concerned, the members of LycoReco intervene by rushing to the bar where Mika has arranged a secret meeting.

Takina takes it upon herself to manage the café's finances after discovering it's in financial trouble, implementing strict cost-cutting measures and closely monitoring the staff. She also proposes a new menu item, though its bizarre appearance proves to be a major obstacle.

Chisato's artificial heart, now unable to be recharged, leaves her with a limited amount of time left to live. Kurumi investigates the heart's origins and questions Mika about past events. At the same time, Chisato is called to Headquarters as the DA prepares a major operation against Majima.

Chisato announces her decision to close Café LycoReco to protect Mizuki and Kurumi from her personal troubles. Meanwhile, Takina, having returned to the Detective Agency, uses Majima to locate Yoshimatsu in an effort to save Chisato. Their efforts lead to the capture of Majima's client and an infiltration of their hideout.

Members of the Lycoris of DA launch an operation to stop Majima at Enkuboku. Takina goes to Café LycoReco after learning she cannot reach Chisato, while Chisato and Mika attempt to rescue Yoshimatsu, who is being held hostage, despite threats from Robota.

Chisato faces a brutal confrontation with Majima at an abandoned radio tower, only to be rescued by Takina's timely arrival. Meanwhile, Majima's actions lead to the public discovery of the Lycoris, and at Headquarters, Kusunoki loses command as plans are set in motion to eliminate the Lycoris within Enkuboku.

With the Enkuboku incident seemingly resolved, Chisato is confronted by Majima, who had supposedly been defeated earlier. Majima, having planted a bomb in the facility, challenges Chisato to a final duel as time runs out.
