Macross II: Lovers Again
Set in A.D. 2089, 80 years have passed since Space War I, which significantly altered the lives of both humans and the Zentraedi. The two species now coexist in peace on Earth when a new alien race, the Marduk, enters the Solar System. During coverage of the first battle between the U.N. Spacy and the Marduk fleet, rookie SNN reporter Hibiki Kanzaki discovers Ishtar, an "Emulator" whose singing enhances the Marduk's combat abilities. Hibiki brings Ishtar to Earth to teach her about life and culture. Joining forces with ace Valkyrie pilot Silvie Gena, Hibiki and Ishtar work to find a way to prevent Earth's destruction by the Marduk leader, Ingues.
