Misaki, the strict and serious student council president, draws the attention of the charming and intelligent Usui, who becomes intrigued by her reserved demeanor and mysterious past.

During a school festival, Misaki and Usui find themselves working together on an event, leading to increased interaction and a growing bond between them.

Usui offers Misaki several thoughtful suggestions, which she initially resists but gradually considers.

Aoi, a popular net idol and Satsuki's niece, visits Maid Latte, expressing enthusiasm for trying on the café's uniform, which frustrates Satsuki. While Takumi assists in the kitchen, Aoi takes an interest in him, though he remains indifferent to her advances.

Satsuki warns Misaki about a group of stalkers targeting cosplay cafés, but Misaki dismisses the threat. When Misaki is alone closing the café, she is confronted by the stalkers, and Takumi must come to her aid.

Misaki gains popularity at school when she attracts the attention of the Inuyama quintuplets, who become devoted fans and seek to learn more about her life. However, their curiosity puts her in a difficult position, as revealing too much might expose her secret part-time job. She struggles with the choice between honesty and maintaining her positive image with them.

Misaki intervenes in a fight between students from Seika High and Miyabigaoka Academy after receiving a phone call from Sakura and Shizuko. She takes the Seika students to Miyabigaoka to apologize, accompanied by Takumi.

Misaki has three days to decide whether to accept the Miyabigaoka scholarship, and as the deadline approaches, she struggles with the choice. Upon visiting Miyabigaoka to make her decision, she is met by Sakura and Shizuko, who express concern that Seika High would lose an important part of its identity if Misaki leaves.

Takumi offers a unique and unusual version of the Momotarō tale, in which Misaki is portrayed as the story's main character.

Sakura, a devoted fan of the indie rock band U-memishi, organizes a tea party with her friends Misaki and Shizuko to meet the band, particularly the vocalist Kuuga, whom she admires. However, Sakura is upset when Kuuga shows more interest in Misaki and pays her little attention.

Usui meets Misaki's mother and helps her carry apples, after which she invites him for tea at her home. Misaki, uncomfortable with the situation, takes him to the park and insists he not visit again. Meanwhile, Sakura and Shizuko witness the outing and assume the two are dating.

During the Seika High Sports Festival, Misaki dominates all the girls' events. In the obstacle race, with first place earning a kiss from an unwilling Sakura, Misaki is in the lead until a boy deliberately pushes her into the pool to eliminate her.

Aratake, the school's most powerful delinquent, and his gang are shocked to see former gang leader Naoya Shirakawa acting meek, so they kidnap cross-dressing Yukimura, whom they wrongly believe to be Naoya's girlfriend.

Seika High's Student Council organizes an open house to increase female enrollment, but their efforts are disrupted by Soutarou Kanou, a freshman who dislikes girls and uses hypnosis to sabotage their plans.

Soutarou is surprised when Misaki reveals she stayed awake for the full 24 hours, and as a consequence, he is made to assist Sakura, Shizuko, and others with preparing the cafeteria for the school's Open House event.

During summer vacation, the Maid Latte group visits Nagisa's beach resort, where Aoi joins them and Usui is hired as Satsuki's bodyguard, causing Misaki distress.

The Maid Latte crew continues their beach house vacation, where Nagisa challenges Aoi to a beach volleyball tournament, offering to let him cross-dress if he wins, with the added title of Beach Prince and Princess for the winning team.

The Miyabigaoka Student Council plans to acquire the popular cafe Maid Latte and convert it into a butler-themed establishment. To prevent this, Misaki decides to enter the male-only footman auditions by disguising herself.

Usui and Misaki successfully complete the second round of footman auditions by setting up an elegant afternoon tea table. However, just before the final round, Misaki accidentally falls off the stage.

Ruri, Yukimura's younger sister who enjoys pretending to be a princess, avoids interacting with her brother. After encountering the charming Usui, who resembles a prince, Yukimura arranges for Usui to go on a date with Ruri in hopes of winning her approval.

Misaki assigns the sports clubs the task of cleaning their clubrooms, hoping to instill discipline. At the same time, a new transfer student named Hinata Shintani joins the school, and his immature behavior and love for food quickly draw Misaki's attention and frustration.

During a school field trip, the students of Seika High are unexpectedly subjected to a five-day Enlightenment experience at a Buddhist temple. Misaki navigates the growing interest from her classmates in her relationship with Hinata while trying to keep Hinata and Usui from clashing over her attention.

Erika enlists Misaki's help after promising a customer a date, violating Maid Latte's rules. Hinata enters a contest and wins the right to take a photo with his chosen maid, which turns out to be "Misa," leading to an awkward situation.

Hinata and Usui's rivalry escalates, leading to a confrontation in the student council room that results in both being expelled by Misaki. At the same time, the Maid Latte staff dress up as characters from the "Maid Witches" anime.

Hinata reflects on his past experiences. At Maid Latte, the café holds a special Fortune Telling Day, during which Erika serves as the fortune teller and delivers a discouraging prediction about Usui's future relationship with Misaki.

Misaki and Usui participate in a festival contest called "Love Trial," where the challenge is to keep holding hands throughout the event. The prize is a premium ticket to a post-festival gathering, and the main rule is that partners must never let go of each other's hands.
