Synopsis
Grylls parachutes into the Sierra Nevada mountains, navigating through alpine, woodland, and chaparral environments with only a knife and canteen. He attempts to tame a wild horse without success, consumes a live snake, and uses indigenous methods like brushing his teeth with a manzanita leaf. He travels much of the terrain by river on a raft made from grape vines.
