Annie and Jake became close six years ago due to their shared love of nachos and have remained close since. After returning from a two-week romantic vacation to an island, Jake was planning to propose. However, before he could do so, Annie confronted him about his perceived lack of commitment, as she had expected him to propose during their trip. This left Jake's ideal proposal ruined. Determined not to spend the next 60 years rehashing the failed attempt, the couple decided to delay the engagement until they could do it properly. History, however, suggests that when people want things to go smoothly, they often don't. What is certain is that Annie and Jake are meant to be together, regardless of whether they manage to get everything right.
