Mary Lou
Miriam dreams of becoming a famous singer, which leads her to abandon her son, Meir. Meir never stops searching for his mother; he eventually leaves his small hometown and moves to Tel Aviv, where he becomes the famous drag queen Mary Lou. As the story unfolds, Meir's journey reveals a deeper need to find himself beyond simply finding his mother.
