Mitsuboshi Colors

In the Ueno district of Tokyo, the Colors are three young girls who engage in imaginative play, pretending to be defenders of their city. While they claim to perform good deeds and aid the community, their efforts are more fantasy than reality. The trio's adventures are supported by Daigorou "Pops" Kujiraoka, a grandfatherly figure who supplies them with items from his store to fuel their games. However, not all residents share their enthusiasm. Policeman Saitou, who would prefer to focus on his regular duties, often becomes the target of the girls' make-believe schemes, cast as the villain in their stories. Despite his reservations, Saitou consistently indulges the girls' play. While the Colors may not truly protect Ueno, they bring joy to the neighborhood.
