MIU404
The Mobile Investigative Unit (known as "MIU") of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department specializes in solving cases within 24 hours. Detective Kazumi Shima is selected as a new member of MIU. He is described as intelligent, with strong observation and communication skills. However, he is distrustful of others and struggles to find a partner within the unit. As a result, he is assigned to work with Police Officer Ai Ibuki, who is stationed at a police substation. Ibuki had applied to join MIU but was not accepted. While he is physically fit, he lacks the knowledge and experience required of a detective. Upon learning about Ibuki's background, Shima becomes increasingly uneasy. Eventually, Shima meets Ibuki for the first time.
