*The Adventures of Luntik*, or simply *Luntik*, is a Russian animated series for children of preschool age. It follows the story of a small fluffy creature named Luntik, who was born on the Moon and fell to Earth. Luntik is the main character, and each episode features a story involving him and his friends. As a newcomer to Earth, he learns about the world in each episode, meeting new friends, learning how to be polite, and eventually finding a family. Most of the characters in the series are small animals, including insects, fish, frogs, bees, grasshoppers, and ladybugs. The show includes both adult and child characters, and the stories are told from a child's perspective, with a kind and warm tone. Even the "villains"—two caterpillars—are portrayed as mischievous but harmless. Each episode is six minutes long and features a complete storyline.
