Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit
Balsa the Spearwoman is a wandering warrior who dedicates her life to saving others as penance for a past sin. During her journey, she rescues a prince and is subsequently appointed as his bodyguard. The prince requires protection because his own father, the emperor, seeks his death. As the story unfolds, Balsa's past is revealed, and she and the prince uncover secrets surrounding Chagum's condition while forming a family-like bond with each other and those around them.
