Mortal Kombat: Conquest

Kung Lao, a reluctant warrior, wins the Mortal Kombat tournament by defeating Shang Tsung and is subsequently tasked by Rayden with training future competitors. He must now decide whether to embrace his new duty or pursue a life with the woman he loves.

Siro becomes suspicious of Jen's new guard, Takeda, unaware that he has been possessed by Scorpion, who was sent by Shang Tsung to kill Kung Lao. Rayden enlists Siro and Taja to assist in preventing the assassination.

Kung Lao, Taja, and Siro team up to prevent Shang Tsung and the Lin Kuei assassin Sub-Zero from obtaining a powerful magic crystal.

Kung Lao discovers that Shang Tsung poisoned a water sack with an aging potion via the demon Vorpax, following the death of a monk. Meanwhile, Taja and Siro, having already consumed the potion, begin to age rapidly.

Kung Lao encounters Princess Kitana, who urges him to help protect the Essence of Edenia, a powerful artifact believed to be the last hope for the Edenian people, now hidden in the Earth Realm.

Siro and Taja encounter a seer named Kiri, who informs them about an underworld city containing a shrine protected by two formidable warriors. She claims they can gain strength by defeating the guardians, though her true hope is that they will instead free Noob Saibot to kill Kung Lao.

The Black Dragon, a notorious criminal organization, arrives in Zhu Zin, asserting control over the trading post and ordering Kung Lao, Siro, and Taja to leave. As the group resists, a Black Dragon member named Jola seeks power and vengeance by striking a deal with Shang Tsung.

Taja is transported through a portal to the Cobalt Mines, where she is captured by Shang Tsung. Kung Lao and Siro attempt a rescue, despite the risk of falling into an ambush.

Quan Chi sends three women to administer a potion to Kung Lao, Taja, and Siro, which magnifies their weaknesses—Kung Lao's anger, Siro's tendency to drink, and Taja's inclination to steal—causing them to lose control. As the situation escalates, Rayden seeks a way to reverse the spell before it leads to disaster.

Shang Tsung and Quan Chi team up to take down Kung Lao by luring him into a fabricated paradise that offers everything he desires. Unbeknownst to Kung Lao, the setting is a trap designed to capture him. Shang Tsung's ultimate goal is to weaken the Earth Realm by removing one of its key defenders.

Hannah, a former lover of Siro, arrives in Zhu Zin seeking his assistance, revealing she is married to his estranged brother, Cassar, who has disappeared. Siro initially hesitates to help but changes his mind upon discovering that Scorpion has used magic to turn Cassar into one of his warriors.

Kung Lao is severely injured during a battle with Rain, leaving him vulnerable. Taking advantage of his weakened state, Shao Kahn sends Mileena to impersonate Princess Kitana and eliminate him.

A warrior named Tomas arrives, offering to join Kung Lao in defending the Earth Realm. However, tensions rise when he is implicated in the apparent murder of several barmaids, raising questions about his true intentions and whether a larger conspiracy is at play.

A traveling circus arrives in Zhu Zin, drawing attention from Kung Lao, Taja, and Siro, who soon realize there is more to it than meets the eye. The performers, including Qali, are part of a scheme orchestrated by Quan Chi to build an army.

Shao Kahn forces Sub-Zero and Scorpion, who have a long-standing rivalry, to work together in an attempt to eliminate Kung Lao.

Empress Kreeya arrives in the Earth Realm with the goal of assembling an army to conquer Outworld. Vorpax, secretly loyal to Kreeya, extends an invitation to Kung Lao, Taja, and Siro to join their cause.

Master Cho seeks revenge against Shang Tsung, who once betrayed him to fight for Shao Kahn, now that Shang Tsung has returned to the Earth Realm.

Kreeya returns and forms an alliance with Reptile, setting the stage for new conflicts and challenges.

Shao Kahn tasks Quan Chi with locating the missing Shang Tsung and bringing him back to the Cobalt Mines.

Kung Lao experiences disturbing visions of the Earth Realm being destroyed, while Siro encounters a thief at the trading post who is revealed to be Taja's former friend, Dion.

Shao Kahn intensifies his efforts to uncover a traitor within his ranks. As Kreeya's forces struggle against Outworld in the war, Vorpax turns to the Earth Warriors for assistance in defeating her.

Rayden encounters Shao Kahn between realms, where the Outworld ruler prophesies his own downfall. Meanwhile, Kung Lao searches for Rayden and crosses paths with Kitana, who alerts him to Shao Kahn's impending attack. Other adversaries from the Earth Realm also emerge, each with their own agendas.
