Synopsis
Shigeru's daughter, Yuri, is discovered dead in the mountains, and a mysterious skin infection begins to spread through the village. While Ginko successfully treats the afflicted villagers, Shigeru is revealed to have a far more severe case. An investigation uncovers that Shigeru and his deceased brother's son had violated a sacred taboo, inadvertently introducing the mushi into the village.
