My Boss, My Hero
Sakaki Makio, also known as "Tornado," is a 27-year-old high school dropout with a difficult temperament and limited academic ability. His father insists that Makio return to school to earn his diploma and enlists an old friend, who is the principal of a nearby school, to admit him. If Makio fails to graduate, the position of family boss will be passed to his younger brother, Mikio. To maintain the deception, Makio must pretend to be 17 years old during school hours and in the presence of classmates or teachers outside of school. If his true identity is discovered, he will be expelled and lose his chance to become boss. The situation proves challenging as Makio's short temper is frequently tested. Over time, he begins to realize that school involves more than just tests and studying.
