Gong Chan is a wealthy, unmarried heir to a large company. After the death of his parents, he dedicates himself to caring for his remaining family, especially his elderly grandfather. When the grandfather cuts off his only daughter due to disapproval of her marriage, he later feels guilt over the decision, as the couple dies shortly after he loses contact with them. Gong Chan later meets a woman named Yoo Rin, who bears a striking resemblance to his late aunt, and decides to bring her into the family to fulfill his grandfather's final wishes. Yoo Rin, the daughter of a compulsive gambler, is constantly in financial trouble and has no choice but to accept Gong Chan's offer. As she moves in with the family, Gong Chan becomes emotionally attached to her, and a forbidden romance begins to develop.
