Ning Yi begins with a slightly reserved background but remains consistently proactive and determined throughout her journey. From composing poetry to engaging in business and learning martial arts and Qi, she progresses from initial ease and indulgence to gradually taking on greater responsibilities. She supports Su Tan’s son in starting a business and helps friends and relatives achieve their personal aspirations, while also aiding those in need and providing practical assistance. In dealing with domestic affairs, Ning Yi and her companions repeatedly face danger, yet ultimately rely on their courage and wisdom to protect the city of Lin An. As the saying goes, "a small verbous husband is a big world," and Ning Yi evolves from someone who merely wishes to do things on her own to a person with a genuine concern for the world. Other characters also experience their own growth, ultimately contributing their individual strengths to the broader situation.
