Ninja Hattori-kun

Kenichi Mitsuba is an 11-year-old boy attending secondary school who struggles with his academics. He is known for being stubborn and lazy, traits that often lead to frustration for his parents and teachers. Kenichi prefers to find the easiest way to accomplish tasks. He forms a friendship with Hattori Kanzo, a ninja from the Iga Clan, who joins the Mitsuba family alongside Kenichi's brother, Shinzo, and their ninja dog, Shishimaru. Hattori supports Kenichi through his challenges and remains a watchful and loyal friend. The primary antagonist is Kemumaki, a ninja from the Koga Clan, who is often at odds with Kenichi due to a rivalry over Yumeko. Kemumaki is accompanied by his ninja cat, Kagechiyo. Kenichi frequently asks Hattori to take revenge on Kemumaki, a recurring plot element in the series. Despite Hattori's loyalty, misunderstandings orchestrated by Kemumaki sometimes lead to conflicts between Kenichi and Hattori. Occasionally, Jippou, Togejirou, and Tsubame assist Kenichi in these situations.
