Nytt på nytt
Nytt på nytt is the Norwegian adaptation of the British comedy programme Have I Got News for You, produced by Hat Trick Productions. The show airs weekly on Friday nights and features two panels, one of which includes a permanent panelist and the other a guest. The format involves completing various tasks, although the competitive aspect is largely downplayed in favor of witty banter and exchanges between the panelists. The scores are typically ignored and only briefly mentioned at the end of the show. Hosted by Jon Almaas, the permanent panelists are Knut Nærum and Ingrid Gjessing Linhave, who replaced Linn Skåber in the autumn of 2013. Since its debut in the spring of 1999, Nytt på nytt has become the most popular weekly television show in Norway, attracting over a million viewers each week.
