When Kazusa enters high school, she joins the Literature Club, where she moves from reading innocent fiction to exploring literary classics. However, these novels contain more adult themes than she is prepared for. Navigating euphemisms like "fresh dewy grass" and "pork stew," developing feelings for the boy next door, and grappling with the desire to experience something before dying—discovering her emerging sexuality proves to be a challenge. With puberty already making things awkward, the club includes a brooding writer, the prettiest girl in school, an agreeable member, and an outspoken prude.
