Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga

Before his death at Honnouji in 1582, the great warlord Oda Nobunaga stood before a statue of Buddha and reflected that his many sins might result in him being reborn as a dog. He did not anticipate that Buddha would take his words literally, but soon after, he finds himself in the body of a Shiba Inu named Shinamon in modern Japan. Unhappy with his human consciousness being confined to the instinct-driven form of an adorable house pet, Nobunaga wrestles with the situation—both trying to adapt (he enjoys the ruff, reminiscent of European fashion) and feeling frustrated (the ruff turns out to be a bath hat, forcing him to take a bath). The situation becomes more complicated as many of his fellow warriors also appear to have been reincarnated as dogs, while his enemy seems to have fared better and retained human form.
