Of Kings and Prophets
Set in the ancient world a millennium before Christ, this epic biblical saga explores themes of faith, ambition, and betrayal through the perspectives of King Saul, the prophet Samuel, and the young shepherd David. King Saul, the first ruler of the Israelites, faces the challenge of uniting the twelve tribes and defending his emerging nation from hostile forces. The prophet Samuel delivers a divine command to Saul, instructing him to destroy one of Israel's ancient enemies. When Saul disobeys, Samuel announces that God will remove the kingdom from him and replace him with another. As tensions rise, Saul comes to understand that his most dangerous adversary is not his external foes, but David, the resourceful shepherd.
