Original Sin

Chi Zhen, also known as Ronald Zhai, grows up learning the skills and tricks needed to navigate a harsh world. He becomes a dishonest lawyer and is later arrested by the police for a crime and sent to prison. Meanwhile, Lu Li, portrayed by Andrew Yin, is the top student at the police academy. After becoming a police officer, he successfully solves several major cases within a few years and is promoted to chief of his police station. Four years after his release, Chi Zhen begins to establish himself as a successful businessman, while Lu Li investigates a mysterious case. Their paths eventually cross, and though they initially act as adversaries, they later form a partnership and develop a close friendship, even risking their lives for each other.
