Otoko Meshi

Wakamizu Ryota (played by Emoto Tokio), a university student in the middle of job hunting, finds himself caught in a sudden gang dispute. His life is saved by Yanagiba Ryuichi (played by Namase Katsuhisa), the boss of the Yanagiba-gumi, and for reasons unclear, Ryota ends up harboring Yanagiba in his home. Despite Ryota's attempts to have him leave immediately, Yanagiba ignores his protests and begins preparing a meal using leftover food from the fridge, without asking. Surprisingly, the meal turns out to be delicious, despite the ingredients seemingly impossible to combine. This marks the beginning of an unusual shared living situation, centered around meals, between a gangster and a university student.
