Our Love Has Always Been 10 Centimeters Apart.
Quiet art student Miou and charismatic film club leader Haruki must confront their growing, unspoken love while navigating divergent career dreams and the looming separation of graduation, risking a lifetime apart if they can't bridge the emotional gap.
Miou Aida and Haruki Serizawa appear to be opposites, yet as third-year high school students nearing the end of their studies, they have grown very close. Miou is a quiet and reserved member of the school's art club who prefers to avoid attention, while Haruki is a loud and self-assured member of the movie club, already earning recognition for his directing skills. Their friendship began with a chance meeting during their school entrance ceremony, and despite their contrasting personalities, they quickly bonded. While their relationship has deepened, it has remained platonic, puzzling their friends. As their time in high school comes to an end, Miou and Haruki, along with their friends in the art and movie clubs, have one year left to confront their unspoken feelings and make decisions about their future careers. Though they are always close physically, Haruki's pursuit of a career as a professional film director and Miou's uncertainty about her own path will test how difficult it is to bridge the emotional distance between them.
