After the Basque separatist group ETA announces a historic ceasefire, Bittori returns to her hometown in search of answers regarding the unresolved murder of her husband, Txato.

Bittori is reunited with her children Xabier and Nerea, who arrive with unexpected news. At the hospital, Xabier encounters Arantxa, the daughter of Miren and Joxian, and returns a meaningful childhood item, raising Miren's suspicions.

Miren seeks help from Bittori during a police manhunt for Joxe Mari but accidentally reveals Txato's secret. At the same time, Nerea and her friends face police confrontation, while Txato and Bittori deal with increasing dangers from ETA.

As tensions in the town over Txato's actions escalate, Joxe Mari is assigned a series of assassinations by his covert ETA contacts. When Txato is killed, Bittori faces emotional turmoil and pressure not to hold his funeral locally, while Joxian struggles with the loss of his friend from afar.

Arantxa, encouraged by her growing friendship with Bittori, secretly contacts Joxe Mari to make an urgent request without her mother's knowledge.

Joxe Mari and other Oria command members are added to a Most Wanted Terrorist list, escalating the search for him. Nerea, after keeping her last promise to Txato, faces a significant choice about her path forward. Meanwhile, Bittori meets secretly with a member of Miren's family, while her children hold their own private discussion.

The civil guard launches an operation to capture the fugitive command unit in Oria after a prolonged surveillance period, while Joxe Mari's family grapples with the emotional conflict between his past as a beloved relative and his current status as a terrorism suspect. Meanwhile, Arantxa and Nerea begin to reestablish contact after a long period of separation.

Bittori receives a long-awaited letter from Joxe Mari and goes to the cemetery to share its contents with her late husband, recalling a cherished family memory from their final day together in Zaragoza, though she does not yet know that returning home will bring disaster.
