People's Justice
At a commendation meeting for Dong Chuan province's "Top Ten Figures of the Rule of Law," He Shu Guo, director of the Second Prosecution Department, unexpectedly encounters the family members of a death row inmate. To investigate the matter further, legal committee secretary Zhang You Cheng appoints Feng Sen to lead the prosecution team in a deeper inquiry into the case. Feng Sen attempts to carry out his duties, but his unconventional approach to handling cases sparks several conflicts. As the team reopens the case, multiple layers of complexity are gradually uncovered, revealing a difficult truth. Feng Sen collaborates with Luo Xin Ran from the Inspectorate Office, both adhering to their professional ethics and refusing to back down despite facing threats, all in an effort to uphold the authority of the law.
