Praomook
Praomook and Chalantorn enter into a temporary marriage out of superstitious belief to ward off bad luck. The arrangement is intended to improve Chalantorn's fortune. Although Chalantorn has long viewed Praomook as unattractive and bothersome, Praomook has harbored feelings of love for her.
