Primeval

The team tries to track a massive, subterranean insect-like predator from the future, while Matt withholds key information about the creature. Philip reveals New Dawn's true purpose to Connor, Abby grows suspicious of Matt and closer to uncovering his secret, and Lester attempts to impress Ms. Reece of the Cabinet Office in hopes of earning a knighthood.

A Navy submarine in the North Sea encounters a mysterious underwater Anomaly, pulling it and its crew, along with Matt, Connor, and Abby, into a prehistoric ocean filled with giant pliosaurs. As the team works to return through the Anomaly, Lester tries to prevent an Admiral from using a nuclear strike, which could have dangerous historical consequences.

Matt follows a Raptor through an Anomaly into Victorian London, where he reunites with Emily and tries to prevent her from being committed to Bedlam Asylum by her unscrupulous husband. Meanwhile, Abby sneaks into Connor's lab to retrieve his research on the New Dawn project for Matt.

Connor creates an artificial Anomaly in the ARC to investigate New Dawn, accidentally bringing carnivorous beetles from the future into the present. The beetles trigger a lockdown and threaten to escape into the modern world, while Jess suffers a severe allergic reaction and Philip considers destroying the ARC to contain the threat.

As Convergence reaches its peak, the ARC faces a growing surge of anomalies and creatures, while Becker and the team race against time to prevent Philip from initiating the final phase of New Dawn.

Matt and Abby travel through New Dawn's Anomaly to a desolate future ruled by Predators in an attempt to rescue Connor, while in the present, New Dawn's influence grows more dangerous as the threat of an impending apocalypse intensifies. At the same time, Jess and Lester contend with an unexpected invasion of mutated future Predators at the ARC.
