Charles Ingram, a former British army major, became the center of a major scandal in the early 2000s after being exposed for cheating his way to winning £1 million on the game show *Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?* Ingram, along with his wife, Diana, and an accomplice, Tecwen Whittock, who was seated in the audience, orchestrated what became known as an on-screen heist. Their scheme was eventually uncovered, leading to a trial.
