Weir becomes entangled in a desperate search for the truth after being framed for a murder and reeling from his friend's suicide, drawing Hailey deeper into his suspicions and his unraveling reality.

The episode alternates between past and present to reveal Weir's traumatic background and the beginnings of his partnership with Valence in corporate espionage. In the current timeline, Weir and Hailey's relationship starts to improve, but Dr. Ben Wilson, a newly reappeared operative, questions the truth of her story.

Weir uses stolen data from Arda to investigate Valence's mysterious death and recruits Hailey to infiltrate Crowley's network.
