*Radio Free Roscoe* was a Canadian television series filmed in Toronto, Ontario. Produced by Decode Entertainment, the show premiered on August 1, 2003, on Family in Canada. It was dubbed in French for Quebec and aired on VRAK.TV. The series was later broadcast on The N in the United States, where it received funding for a second season. The show concluded on May 27, 2005, after The N ceased funding, and Family, along with Decode Entertainment, could not cover the remaining production costs. It continued to air on Family until 2007, when it was replaced. In early 2008, The N began rerunning episodes. The pilot was initially filmed in New Jersey with a different cast. The show was originally intended to be set in Nutley, New Jersey, under the title *Radio Free Nutley*. It was not picked up until Decode Entertainment moved production to Toronto, changed the cast, and altered the title. Despite the move, the show remained set in suburban New Jersey.
