Raines

Raines is a crime drama television series that aired from March 15, 2007, to April 27, 2007, on NBC in the United States. The show premiered as a mid-season replacement and was also broadcast on CH in Canada, TV3 in Ireland, ITV3 in the UK, and on Network Ten in Australia. The series centers on Michael Raines, a "mentally haunted" LAPD detective who communicates with imaginary manifestations of deceased crime victims to solve cases. Raines struggles with this unusual and involuntary ability, which leads to complications with his colleagues and in his personal life. The first two episodes aired on Thursday nights at 10:00 PM Eastern Time, during the time slot normally occupied by *ER*. The third episode aired eight days later, moving to a regular Friday at 9:00 PM time slot. On May 14, 2007, NBC announced its schedule for the 2007–2008 television season. *Raines* was not included on the list and was officially cancelled.
