Ramsay's Best Restaurant

*Ramsay's Best Restaurant* is a television programme featuring British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, which aired on Channel 4. The series showcased restaurants from across Britain competing for the title of "Ramsay's Best Restaurant." The initial 16 participants were selected by Ramsay from a pool of approximately 12,000 entries submitted by Channel 4 viewers. In the first stage of the competition, eight pairs of restaurants offering the same type of cuisine competed against each other, with the winners advancing to the semi-finals and then the final. Although initially announced as a 12-part series, it was broadcast in nine episodes between September and November 2010. During the grand final, which aired on 9 November, it was announced that Casamia, a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant located in Bristol, had won the competition. Prashad, an Indian Gujarati vegetarian restaurant from Bradford, came in second place.
