Synopsis
Ryoga encounters Checkers, a black and white dog, who rescues P-chan from falling over a waterfall, leading Ryoga to take care of the animal. Checkers discovers a love letter that Ryoga had written and delivers it to Akane, who reads it but does not recognize the sender. Akane replies with a letter stating that she has someone she loves and cannot return the writer's feelings, which surprises Ryoga. Ranma later points out that Ryoga never signed the letter, causing Ryoga to suspect that Akane might be referring to him.
