Synopsis
Young Emilia lived happily in an elven settlement with Fortuna, whom she called "Mother," despite some restrictions. Their peace was disrupted by Regulus Corneas, the Sin Archbishop representing Greed and a member of the Witch's Cult. In the present, Shima appears to Subaru and the others as they wait for Emilia to finish her trial, recounting the events that led to the creation of the Sanctuary.
