Remembrance of Things Past

Set in Beijing, the story follows a group of young men and women born in the 1980s and 1990s as they navigate life in the bustling metropolis. Through their struggles, they cling to their dreams and face various challenges in their careers, relationships, and personal growth. Qiao Xichen (Zhou Yutong), a smart and driven woman, has moved from a small town to Beijing to study and work in the corporate world. Her life takes a sudden turn with the unexpected death of her close friend, Hu Jingjing. Grieving alongside her best friend, Xu Yan, and Hu Jingjing's older cousin, Ji Nanjia, Qiao Xichen continues to move forward while keeping her friend's memory close. Meanwhile, Jian Yifan (Bai Yufan) is newly appointed to a leadership role and tasked with announcing a round of layoffs. At the same time, Qiao Xichen faces difficulties with a project under her responsibility. With her own determination and the support of her colleagues, she manages to resolve the issues and begins a romantic relationship with Jian Yifan.
