Green City Kazamatsuri is built on the principle of a harmonious coexistence between civilization and the environment. However, the tranquil city is about to experience its annual event, the Harvest Festa, which takes place at the turn of the year. Similar to a large-scale school festival, the event draws attention from many, including Tennoji Kotaro, who decides to attend in search of material for his articles. His decision is partly driven by the town's reputation for rumors involving unidentified creature sightings and other occult phenomena. As Kotaro becomes more involved, he begins to encounter strange occurrences himself.
