Dr. William P. Rush, a former ER doctor turned freelance physician for the wealthy, balances his hedonistic lifestyle with morally ambiguous work performed from his vintage Mercedes. Though he often prioritizes profit over ethics, he occasionally confronts the harsh realities of his clients' lives.

Rush assists an aspiring MMA fighter dealing with an undiagnosed medical condition that threatens both his career and his health. At the same time, Alex works to prevent his own professional downfall at the hospital. In another storyline, Manny and Eve examine their relationship and the limits of their influence over Rush.

Rush responds to a mysterious medical case at a social club, where Eve encounters a former acquaintance. At the same time, Rush attempts to reconcile with his estranged father to help Alex regain his position, while also managing a volatile actor on his way back to a film set.
