Usagi Tsukino is a 14-year-old schoolgirl characterized by her cheerful yet clumsy personality. She encounters a mystical black cat named Luna, who warns her of impending dark forces. Luna discloses that Usagi possesses the ability to confront these threats through a magical brooch. Using this device, Usagi can transform into Sailor Moon, a guardian committed to defending love and justice.

A group of boys at Usagi's school begin exhibiting unusual behavior, and a new fortune teller in town may be responsible for their growing mischief.

As a mysterious sleeping sickness spreads through the town, leaving several residents, including Ms. Haruna and Naru, in coma-like states, the enigmatic late-night radio show "Midnight Zero" continues to air, reading aloud love letters from listeners.

Usagi is surprised to discover she has gained weight due to overeating and decides to take action by joining a gym with her friends, which promises immediate results to its members.

Usagi tries to convince her parents to let her keep Luna as a pet, but her brother Shingo strongly dislikes Luna and has a mild fear of cats. A new and unusual pet store opens in town, offering peculiar creatures that cause anyone who owns one—including Shingo—to fall into a hypnotic trance.

Usagi encounters Yusuke Amade, a jazz musician who is being hunted by a Youma. She helps him confront his fears and gain the courage to confess his feelings to the woman he loves.

Usagi and Naru hope to become stars like Mikan Shiritori, a former student of their school. When they learn that Mikan is hosting a talent contest, they view it as an opportunity to pursue their aspirations.

The Sailor Guardians investigate the Dream Land amusement park following reports of missing visitors, dividing into two teams—Usagi and Rei, and Ami and Luna. Usagi's excitement for the park's attractions raises concerns for Rei, who remains more focused on the mission.

Usagi and Ami go to the city for shopping and come across a clock store where Usagi is intrigued by a clock that resembles Luna. Later that day, her mother gives her an identical clock as a surprise. That night, the clocks from the store emit a strange light, leading to widespread restlessness throughout Tokyo.

A series of disappearances occurs among individuals near the Hikawa Shrine, prompting Usagi, Ami, and Luna to investigate the mystery. At the shrine, they meet Rei Hino, a powerful shrine maiden who may possess key insights into the case.

Queen Beryl's frustration with Jadeite increases as a result of his repeated failures, prompting him to open a theme park that raises public suspicion due to the frequent disappearances occurring there. Meanwhile, Usagi and Rei, who has become Sailor Mars, begin to develop a friendship characterized by conflict.

Queen Beryl's youma allies support Jadeite in advancing his plans. Rei, who has obtained cruise ship tickets, invites Ami to accompany her. Feeling excluded, Usagi secretly follows them aboard the ship.

Usagi wrestles with her emotions for Motoki and Tuxedo Mask while Jadeite, facing the threat of Eternal Sleep due to previous failures, launches an attack on the Sailor Guardians at an airport.

Nephrite takes over leadership in Jadeite's absence and begins selecting individuals to drain for energy, starting with Rui, a friend of Naru.

Rei has a crush on Mamoru and persuades him to go on a date, while Nephrite becomes interested in the caretaker of a nearby park.

Usagi participates in a homemade wedding dress contest to reflect on her views of love and marriage, while her home economics teacher becomes a target of the antagonist Nephrite. As the competition continues, Usagi must manage her creative work alongside her responsibilities as a Sailor Guardian. Nephrite's assault on the teacher prompts the Sailor Guardians to step in and defend those they care about.

Nephrite becomes interested in a gifted young photographer, while Usagi strives to achieve her goals in modeling.

Shingo's actions create tension in his friendship with Mika, a skilled doll maker who has earned recognition for her craftsmanship. Unknown to them, her special abilities attract the interest of Nephrite, who aims to use her for his energy-harvesting schemes.

Nephrite takes advantage of Sailor Moon's affection for Tuxedo Mask by sending love letters to Usagi and her friends. In his civilian form, he manipulates Naru into developing feelings for him, using her affection to drain her energy.

Usagi, Ami, Rei, and Luna take a trip for training, only to discover that their hotel is filled with strange and disturbing events.

Nephrite sends his most powerful Youma to attack an animator working on the production of the new *Sailor V* movie.

Luna and Queen Beryl believe that a visiting princess may be the key figure the Sailor Senshi have been seeking. At the same time, Mamoru has a dream in which he appears as Tuxedo Mask and a girl searches for the Silver Crystal. During a royal ball, Usagi experiences her first kiss.

Zoisite uses Nephrite's growing affection for Naru to manipulate him into giving up the Black Crystal.

Naru's unresolved feelings for Nephrite place her at the center of the conflict between Nephrite and Zoisite, making her an unwilling participant in their struggle for power.

Queen Beryl starts to awaken the powerful dark force Metalia and sends Zoisite and Kunzite to find the Seven Great Youma and their powerful Rainbow Crystals. Meanwhile, the athletic Makoto Kino enrolls at Usagi's school and becomes interested in a skilled crane-game player at the local arcade.

Naru is still deeply affected by Nephrite's death, so Usagi and Umino take her to Yokohama in an effort to help her recover. There, a local priest is attacked by Zoisite, and during the confrontation, Mamoru is revealed to be Tuxedo Mask, accidentally dropping a locket that Usagi later discovers.

Ami meets Ryo Urawa, a psychic boy who is infatuated with her. However, his abilities reveal that he is destined to be corrupted into a Youma by Zoisite.

Usagi and Mamoru are invited to model for Yumemi Yumeno, a reclusive artist whose work soon draws the attention of the villain Zoisite.

Makoto and Usagi both develop feelings for Motoki and begin competing for his attention, despite learning that he is already in a relationship. Meanwhile, Zoisite and Kunzite set their sights on Motoki's girlfriend.

After an attack by Zoisite, Rei's grandfather begins taking on an apprentice and displays unusual behavior.

Luna begins receiving mysterious gifts from an admirer, later revealed to be an overweight tomcat named Rhett Butler, while the Sailor Guardians face off against Zoisite in a battle to secure the final Rainbow Crystal.

Umino tries to follow Usagi's advice on winning Naru's affection but misinterprets it, leading him to adopt the flamboyant persona of Tuxedo Mask.

Zoisite impersonates Sailor Moon in an attempt to draw out Tuxedo Mask and the Sailor Guardians. Though the Dark Kingdom manages to injure Tuxedo Mask, their plan is interrupted when Sailor Venus arrives.

Mamoru confronts Zoisite in a struggle for dominance over the Rainbow Crystals, with Usagi inadvertently becoming entangled in the conflict.

Usagi and Mamoru remember their past lives as the royal couple, Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion. When Mamoru is injured and captured by the Dark Kingdom, Zoisite is punished by Queen Beryl for his failure to kill him. At the same time, Luna and Artemis reveal to the Sailor Guardians the painful history of their own past lives.

Minako takes Usagi to a hair salon to cheer her up, and there they unexpectedly discover that Tuxedo Mask is alive, although he has undergone significant changes.

Usagi enrolls in Countess Rose's prestigious Princess Seminar in hopes of learning how to embody the regal qualities expected of a true princess.

Usagi and her friends travel to a ski resort for a competition, but they soon discover that Kunzite has manipulated the event in an attempt to reveal Sailor Moon's true identity.

Kunzite tries to use the Moon Princess's background as an ice skater to entice Sailor Moon into a trap, but it is Makoto who turns out to be the most skilled skater. Tuxedo Mask steps in not to help Sailor Moon, but to counter Kunzite's plan of involving civilians.

Usagi and her family visit a hot springs resort for a relaxing vacation, while Endymion undertakes a perilous mission to retrieve an ancient and powerful monster.

Queen Beryl commands seven individuals who once possessed Rainbow Crystals to unite them into a powerful youma. Ami resolves to defend Urawa, while Sailor Moon attempts to heal Endymion.

Kunzite tests Sailor V's connection to the Sailor Senshi by attacking Katarina, a former friend of Minako's.

Kunzite and a Youma, following Queen Beryl's orders, investigate reports of increasing tension among Sailor Moon and the Inner Sailor Guardians, who seem to be vying for control of the Moon Stick and the Silver Crystal.

The Guardians are transported to the destroyed Moon Kingdom by a mysterious energy blast, where they encounter a hologram of Queen Serenity who reveals their history. Meanwhile, Luna and Artemis discover the entrance to the Dark Kingdom, leading to a battle where Kunzite is ultimately defeated by Sailor Moon.

After defeating Kunzite and regaining their past memories, the Sailor Senshi discover the location of the Dark Kingdom and begin preparing to face it, knowing that the confrontation may demand a significant sacrifice.

Sailor Moon is captured and brought to the Dark Kingdom after her friends are killed, where she faces Queen Beryl and the possessed Prince Endymion.
