Say "I Love You."
In *Say "I Love You,"* Mei Tachibana has resolved never to trust anyone again after a painful betrayal left her emotionally broken. Her strategy for survival is to avoid forming friendships, a plan that has worked—until the arrival of Yamato Kurosawa, a popular and persistent boy who inexplicably befriends her. Mei initially ignores his advances, including his unexpected phone number, but when she finally calls him for help, he responds. His unexpected support complicates Mei's carefully constructed emotional walls. Though she is no damsel in distress, Yamato’s actions—especially an unexpected kiss—challenge her resolve. As past and present tensions collide, Mei struggles to articulate the three words that could change everything.
