Jerry is thrilled when a woman he met during his travels comes to visit him in New York, and George and Kramer share their thoughts on how he should manage the situation.

Jerry meets a woman at a party but only manages to learn her workplace before she departs. Eager to see her again, he asks George to help him by watching the woman's office, in the hope of arranging a chance meeting.

Jerry becomes a victim of theft after Kramer forgets to lock the apartment door. Elaine convinces him to look at an upscale apartment, hoping to trade for his current one, but George also expresses interest in moving in, complicating the situation.

Jerry tries to end his friendship with a loud and boisterous old acquaintance but relents after feeling guilty about the man's emotional response. Elaine helps him come up with excuses to reduce their interactions.

George and Jerry decide to invest in a stock after receiving a tip, while Elaine struggles with the stress caused by her boyfriend's cats worsening her allergies. Meanwhile, Jerry's weekend trip with his new girlfriend leads to tension in their relationship.
